Lyng Drilling AS was founded in 1984 in Vanvikan, Norway to develop innovate drilling technology for the design of PDC drill bits. Since 1998, Lyng Drilling AS has employed its expertise in development of cutting structures for efficient slotting of carbon anodes using patented saw blade technology.
We are a provider of patented equipment and tools for anode slotting, stub hole milling, and anode cleaning for the Aluminium industry. We design and manufacture custom saw blades and cutter cassettes to suit anode slotting machines of our customers. Over the last couple of decades, we have helped smelters achieve superior anode slotting performance with our best-in-class saw blades that can slot up to 120000 anodes with a single saw blade. Lyng Drilling AS is an ISO-9001 2015 certified company fully owned by Schlumberger.
