Bonnell Aluminum, a leading manufacturer of aluminum extrusions, completed the installation of a profile measuring system at its plant in Carthage, Tennessee. The new ASCONA promex EXPERT system will help the company to improve the quality of the profiles extruded at its plant. This is the second profile measurement system of this type that the extruder has installed, with the first having been introduced at its manufacturing plant in Newnan, Georgia.
Supplied by iNOEX, LLC, this high-end optical system measures the geometry of aluminum profiles. The system can measure profiles with a high degree of accuracy and monitor the quality of extrusions in real time.
