Introduced by Morgan Motor Company, the Midsummer is a new, open-toped roadster. The vehicle is built on the automaker’s CX-Generation bonded aluminum chassis and features hand-formed aluminum body panels and wood details (see page 50). Although a limited-run vehicle, the Midsummer is nevertheless evocative of the innovative ways automakers can utilize aluminum to reduce weight without sacrificing driving performance or style. Learn more about current automotive aluminum trends in the Alumobility article beginning on page 10.
