KPS Capital Partners acquired Profile Custom Extrusions, LLC from Highlander Partners, L.P. In addition, KPS recently completed its acquisition of Metra Holding S.p.A. and Metra S.p.A. in Italy. Profile and Metra will be combined to form a leading, global aluminum extrusion platform with a strong presence across both Europe and North America.

Profile Custom Extrusions operates a single facility in Rome, GA, where it produces a variety of custom extrusions for diverse markets, including construction, HVAC, transportation, electrical, and marine. The extruder also provides value-added capabilities, such as painting, anodizing, thermal break, and precision cutting.

KPS Capital Partners is an operationally focused global private equity firm, with a history of holding significant interests in metals and automotive enterprises. Including its acquisition of Metra and Profile Custom Extrusions, KPS recently completed the purchase of Hydro’s rolling business, which was renamed Speira.
