MINO, a rolling technology manufacturer headquartered in Alessandria, Italy, opened a new company with office in India, called MINO Rolling Technology India. The country is an increasingly important market for the global metals industry, with significant investments in aluminum and other metals and a growing demand for advanced rolling technology. This move marks an important step in the Group’s continued development and commitment to the Indian market.

MINO already has a long-standing presence in India and a growing portfolio of projects across the aluminum and metals industry, establishing strong relationships with leading producers in the region. A recent milestone is the successful start-up of MINO’s four-high aluminum Cold Rolling Mill at Jupiter Aluminium Industries (JUPALCO). The mill is designed for strip widths up to 2,300 mm and incorporates advanced process control and automation technologies.
MINO Rolling Technology India company, located in Navi Mumbai, will act as a local point of reference for customers and partners, supporting the company’s activities across the entire project lifecycle — from initial technical discussions and feasibility studies through engineering, project execution, and after-sales technical service. The new company enables MINO to further strengthen its relationships with customers, respond more quickly to local requirements, and provide enhanced technical and commercial support.
The new company will operate as an integral part of the MINO Group, connecting local activities with the group’s engineering and manufacturing centers in Italy and its international business units. This approach combines MINO’s long-standing expertise in the design and manufacture of rolling mills with a stronger local presence, enabling customers in India to benefit from both global engineering capabilities and local technical support.
