The 6th Australasian Aluminium Extrusion Conference (AAEC) will be held September 10-12, 2018 in Melbourne, Australia, under the theme “Creating a Competitive Advantage.” At the event, recognized world experts will be addressing technical and commercial areas vital to the aluminum extrusion industry, including primary and recycled aluminum. In addition, suppliers will be showcasing their latest technology and innovations with an integrated exhibition.
The conference technical program will consist of presentations on key industry topics, such as:
- Aluminum in a Competitive Environment
- Equipment Innovations
- Control systems
- Quality Billet Supply
- Efficient Extrusion Processing
- Meeting Customer Needs
Authors are invited to submit an abstract (about 200 words) for inclusion in the conference technical program. Possible topics include: new equipment and control system innovations, an interesting case study in die design or resolving quality issues, extrusion alloy selection, or another topic related to the 2018 conference theme. A template for the abstracts, along with a guide for ensuring that abstracts and papers are non commercial, is provided on the conference website.
