Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) signed an MOU with Daiki Aluminium Industry Company Ltd, Japan’s leading aluminum product manufacturer, to establish a sustainable aluminum dross processing business in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahrain and Japan have a thriving economic partnership. This collaboration not only reinforces that partnership, but also paves the way for innovative advancements in sustainable aluminum production.

The two companies will bring together Alba’s industry-leading expertise and Daiki Aluminium’s cutting-edge technologies to form the joint venture. The aluminum dross processing facility will employ state-of-the-art technology to recover valuable aluminum metal while significantly reducing waste, thereby contributing to Bahrain’s sustainability goals. Circular economy principles will be central to the development of this partnership and joint venture.
