FALCO broke ground on its new extrusion facility for the production of hard alloy profiles at the Lone Butte Industrial Park in Chandler, Arizona. The new company is embarking on a venture with the aim of delivering unsurpassed customer service, along with a work environment and management approach that supports its employees and their families.

Situated on 5 acres, the new 24,917 sq ft facility will include 3 overhead cranes, a 54 ft tall furnace, a 40 ft deep quench tank, an aging oven and extrusion press machinery. Once completed, the site will produce hard alloy aluminum shapes, rod, bar, and forging stock for commercial and recreational uses, and will be ready to serve the aerospace, defense, automotive, recreational, and medical industries.

Agate Construction will perform general contracting activities for the new FALCO facility, including erection of the pre-engineered metal building (PEMB), as well as earthwork, concrete, electrical, and other ancillary services necessary to the function of the building.

“FALCO has been established to rise to the challenge,” said the company in a statement, “heeding the call of aluminum extrusion customers who are demanding the return of a truly, customer-focused supplier offering faster lead times, and creating an employee-focused enterprise with a satisfying work environment wherein the experience of each individual team member contributes to its overall mission of meeting its customers’ needs and demands while delivering renowned service, on-time delivery and high-quality extrusions.”

FALCO is a small, women-led business. Their management team has 300+ years of combined experience in the field and takes pride in the on-time delivery of high-quality metal products and exceptional customer service grounded in integrity and respect.

Instrumental to its success of FALCO is the leadership of the Fraley family, who initially started in the aluminum manufacturing businesses in 1973. The family is long renowned in the industry for their successful development of prominent hard alloy aluminum manufacturing.

The new extrusion manufacturing operations are expected to start in late 2021.
