The 17th Arab International Aluminium Conference (Arabal 2013) took place at Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from November 5-7, 2013. Organized and hosted by Emirates Aluminium (EMAL), the event drew attendees 630 attendees (including 455 registered delegates), from around the world to participate in the proceedings and the exhibition.
The exhibition hall featured 37 exhibiting companies, offering an excellent opportunity for networking for both the companies and attendees. Some of the exhibiting companies are featured in the slideshow below, or can be viewed directly on Flickr.
The February 2014 issue of Light Metal Age will feature “Arabal 2013 – Part I” by Andrew Hall, which will provide a detailed overview the proceedings from day one of the event. “Arabal – Part II” will cover the second day of the conference and will appear in the following April 2014 issue.
