Through this acquisition and the implementation of broad synergies, STAS wishes to realize its vision of becoming a key player for the aluminum industry.
Sermas is a world leader in the sawing of large materials for the aluminum industry. The company employs around forty employees and produces a complete range of equipment for the manufacture of cast aluminum products, including: complete sawing equipment for ingots, billets, and aluminum T-bars (with handling, weighing, marking, and chip processing); milling machines for the manufacture of cast or rolled aluminum plates; sealing benches to produce cathodic blocks used in electrolysis pots; anode preparation equipment; and sawing equipment for copper bars, carbon blocks, and graphite.
