Bonnell Aluminum, a subsidiary of Tredegar Corporation, plans to expand its operations focused on the production of TSLOTS aluminum structural framing system. The company will add a manufacturing and distribution site for the framing system to its existing facility in Newnan, Georgia. This will enable Bonnell to provide customers based in the Southeastern U.S. to have greater access to the TSLOTS product line.

“We have been successful in growing our TSLOTS product line by positioning our manufacturing and distribution sites closer to where our customers operate,” said Randy Johnson, senior brand manager for TSLOTS by Bonnell Aluminum. “This is our second major investment in TSLOTS in two years, following a very successful expansion into the Midwest in 2021. This capacity addition will increase our footprint across the U.S. and provide our customers with reduced shipping costs and shorter lead times.”

The TSLOTS aluminum framing system allows manufacturers to create light, durable, attractive, strong, versatile, and functional structures using custom T-slotted aluminum extrusions and connecting hardware. The framing systems are used is a variety of applications and technologies, including automation, robotics, workstation solutions, machine and safety guarding, and more.

TSLOTS is a full-service product line providing project design assistance, fabrication, custom packaging, and full assembly. The expansion in Newnan will be in addition to Bonnell’s current manufacturing and service locations in Clearfield, Utah, and Niles, Michigan.
