YKK Expands Global Presence with Acquisition of German Architectural Products Manufacturer

YKK AP Inc., a privately-held corporation headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, acquired Seufert-Niklaus GmbH, a German manufacturer of architectural products.

Its approximately 200 employees provide design, production planning, manufacturing, and maintenance for the company’s products in Germany and across Europe.

The strategic move to acquire Seufert-Niklaus follows YKK’s establishment of YKK AP Europe GmbH, which was launched in April 2025 and is based in Dusseldorf, Germany.
