The ALUMINIUM 2014 Conference will be held in conjunction with the ALUMINIUM 2014 exhibition on October 7-9, 2014 in Duesseldorf, Germany. The conference motto is “Aluminium – material for the future” and it will present various applications of aluminum currently in use along with possible further developments that will make future products even lighter, higher quality, and more energy efficient. The conference is organized by the GDA (Gesamtverband der Aluminiumindustrie) and Reed Exhibitions.
The organizers invite specialists from companies, research institutes, and universities to submit presentation abstracts on the following subjects:
- Plant and Equipment
- Automotive
- Surface
- Recycling Technologies
- Aluminum Markets
Abstract submissions should be no more than one page long and in English. Submitted abstracts will be examined by a program committee, which may also permit other relevant subject areas. Accepted proposals will be published in the proceedings.
In addition to a short abstract, proposals for papers to be presented should include all relevant contact information, including the name of the author(s), as well as title, address, phone number, and email address.
The conference language will be in English, however simultaneous translation into German or English will be provided. Papers and presentations may be written in English or German. Language preference should be specified in the abstract submission.
The final paper should be no more than 30 pages long, including text, pictures, and transparencies. Tables and photos are desirable.
The submission deadline for the abstracts is March 28, 2014.
