Frontier Aluminum, based in Corona, CA, constructed a new vertical disk powder coating line at its maquiladora plant, Frontera Aluminios in Tecate, Mexico. The new line was an attempt to meet the challenge of globalization by embracing it. The line was inspired by a Chinese extrusion/paint company, designed and built by Italian manufacturer Trasmetal with powder development by Spraylat (U.S.), and installed in Mexico.
