Summary: The precipitation of dispersoids during one-stage and two-stage homogenization treatment of Al-1.0Mg-1.1Si-0.5Cu-0.7Mn alloy ingot for automotive body sheet was investigated by laser scanning confocal microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The results are discussed in this article.
