Summary: This article covers the creation of curved profiles via a new one step production process, called Curved Profile Extrusion. During extrusion, an exiting strand is deflected by a 2-axis guiding tool immediately after leaving the die. The process is achieved via a robotized arm and controlled by the offline-programming and simulation system MOSES Robotic. This paper was presented at the 2009 Extrusion Workshop and Benchmark that took place in Dortmund, Germany.
