 8th Aluminium Two Thousand CongressThe Aluminium Two Thousand World Congress has reached its 8th edition, which will be held in Milan, Italy, from May 14-18, 2013. This event is organized by Interall Srl (Aluminium Publications) and promoted by important European Aluminium Associations, industries, and universities. The congress will focus on Metallurgy, Extrusion, Surface Finishing, Corrosion, Casting, Environmental Technologies, and all relevant subjects related to the aluminum industry. Three parallel sessions for three full days with around 100 papers will ensure that subjects will be covered in detail, including a special session covering "Market and Strategies in Aluminum for Africa and Africa for Aluminum.” The technical team of the organizing committee will take care of evaluating the presentations and giving priority to the selection of innovative studies and research, new industrial applications, and case histories. One full day (parallel session) dedicated to innovative technologies and applications in casting and die-casting will be held by Diem Tech, Engineering Dept. of Bologna University, already known for R&D on extrusion technologies. A congress specific “Extrusion Workshop” will also be organized and handled by Diem-Tech.
