     ALTEK designs, manufactures and markets technologically advanced capital equipment to the worldwide aluminum industry.  Equipment and systems ALTEK provides to fulfill the mission of reducing aluminum dross generation and preserving and recovering metal units contained in dross include the Tardis II line of dross presses, Siberforce® air-cooled electromagnetic circulators, tilt-type rotary furnaces, and related products.
We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated professional to further develop the market for these and future high technology products in the U.S. aluminum industry. This high visibility position reports to the V.P. of Operations, North America. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience in the aluminum industry, a technical degree and familiarity with both mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
     We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is ambitious and passionate in their drive to succeed, who thrives on working in an exciting small team environment, and who has developed the interpersonal skills to successfully represent ALTEK and our products to U.S. customers. Location is flexible, but the ideal candidate will live in a state bordering the Ohio Valley, and will have the means and motivation to work from a home-based office. The role will require approximately 50% travel, primarily in the U.S. but with occasional foreign travel.
